Health Unit confirms district?s first influenza case of the season

District Health Unit officials have renewed their call for people to ensure they get their annual flu shot.

This reminder follows the first laboratory-confirmed case of Influenza A in the District of Thunder Bay, and the second confirmed case in all of Ontario.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit?s medical officer of health, Dr. David Williams, said getting a flu shot is the most effective way to protect you and your family from Influenza.
